David and I met in 2012, when I was just finishing off college in Rhode Island. We dated long distance for awhile. A lot of late-night phone calls, getting to know one another. He would drive out to visit me in RI, and I would visit him. We always had the most fun together, but we both wanted more. After only knowing each other a few months, we decided I would move to his home state of Connecticut, and we ended up getting our first apartment together. We loved watching movies every night and cuddling on our couch. We would always go out on dates to Red Lobster; he would drive me around his state, showing me where he grew up, and we'd talk and laugh all day. He was quiet, humble, and shy. I was outgoing and free-spirited. We fell in love quickly, and both always wanted to have a big family. In 2016, we welcomed our first son, Bryson.
Things changed when we had Bryson. I was working full-time at Marriott Headquarters Photography Team. David was working full-time at NBC. We were both working separate shifts, so one of us would be home with Bryson. We never had any time together as a family, and we quickly realized this wasn't the life we wanted to live. I ended up leaving my five-year career at corporate to become a stay-at-home mom and full-time content creator. David continued to work outside the home so that we could, of course, have an income to support our family. Since then we have been creating content for YouTube and Instagram, and I've been able to pursue my love for photography while working with some pretty amazing brands. Life, pregnancies, jobs, and babies have happened throughout the years. It hasn't been the easiest journey, but we are forever grateful for all the beautiful blessings God has brought us.
Now we have three beautiful children together, and we will be welcoming our first daughter in August 2024. Our love for one another has grown stronger in these twelve years. We have the big family we both prayed for and continue to pursue our goals of being stay-at-home parents and full-time content creators.
